Data stays on your device

Brew Day Companion, developed by Jiali Liang, stores preferences, the free-brew allowance, brew measurements, timers and notes on your device. This version has no app account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK or developer-operated server. The app does not collect or send your brew records to the developer, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Apple services

Apple processes purchases and supplies purchase status to the app. We do not receive your payment details. Apple services operate under Apple's privacy policies. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings.

Notifications and sharing

Local notifications and Live Activities may display the brew and timer names you enter, including on the Lock Screen. You can manage these features in your device settings. Exporting or sharing sends the content you choose to the destination you select; that destination's privacy practices then apply.

Your choices

You can delete individual brew records in the Journal. Deleting a record does not reset a used free-brew allowance. Removing the app removes its local records; keep an export first if needed. Manage backups and subscriptions separately through Apple settings.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you voluntarily include. We use it to answer your request, not for advertising. Please avoid sending information unrelated to your support request. You can request deletion of your support correspondence by contacting us.

This website and changes

This support page has no analytics scripts, forms or advertising. This page is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process ordinary network information to deliver the page, according to its privacy statement. We will update this policy if the app's practices change.
