What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to RetroPhone: Y2K Digicam, including live camera preview, photo and video capture, gallery storage, filter settings, support, and purchase-related workflows.
Camera and Photos
- Camera access is used for live preview and to capture photos and videos with retro filters.
- Photos access is used only when you choose to save a photo or video to your library.
You can review or revoke these permissions in iOS Settings.
Data we do not intentionally collect
- Your camera feed, captured photos, videos, or saved exports.
- Your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers.
- Account credentials, because RetroPhone does not require a Just Compress account.
Local app data
RetroPhone may store app preferences on your device, such as filter settings, capture options, gallery items, free-shot count, and purchase entitlement state. Saved media is written to your photo library only when you choose to save.
Purchases
Lifetime Unlock is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Apple processes payment and purchase history. RetroPhone uses StoreKit to show localized pricing, complete purchases, and restore purchases.
Diagnostics and App Store analytics
Apple may provide aggregated crash reports, performance information, and App Store analytics to developers. These reports depend on your Apple device settings and are used to improve reliability.
Third-party services
The app may use Apple frameworks and App Store services for camera capture, media saving, purchases, sharing, diagnostics, and distribution. RetroPhone does not use advertising SDKs, App Tracking Transparency, or IDFA.
Support
If you contact support, we receive the email address and details you choose to send. Support questions can be sent to [email protected].
Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as RetroPhone changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
