DPI

Privacy policy

Effective October 26, 2026

This policy applies to DPI (bundle ID com.jiali.DPI), developed by Space Sheep Studio.

On-device processing

DPI reads and rewrites the photos you select on your device. We do not upload your photos, and the app has no account, advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs, and no servers of its own. It makes no network requests except Apple's App Store services for the optional purchase.

Files and permissions

The system Photos picker gives the app access only to the photos you select. Files you pick in the Files app, and photos taken with the camera, are copied into the app's local storage. Camera access is requested only when you tap Take Photo. Saving results to Photos asks for add-only photo permission. You can decline any permission and still use Files, Share, Print and Email. Original files are never overwritten: results are written as new files.

Location and metadata

Photos can contain a capture date, color profile and GPS location. DPI reads these to show you the details. By default DPI keeps them in the exported file; the Remove location option removes GPS from the new copy. Metadata stays on your device unless you share the output.

Printing, email and sharing

When you print, email or share a result, the destination you choose (AirPrint printer, Mail, another app) handles the file under its own policy. DPI does not receive a copy.

Purchases and local preferences

DPI Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, both handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment information. The app checks verified App Store transactions to unlock Pro and to remove access when a subscription ends or a purchase is refunded. Preferences and saved print setups, such as default DPI and print sizes are stored locally on your device. System backups may include app data according to your settings.

Data collection

DPI does not collect personal data for the developer. If you email support, we receive what you include and use it only to reply.

Control and contact

Delete exports in the app's Files folder, revoke photo or camera access in iOS Settings, or uninstall the app to remove its local data. Questions: [email protected].
