TalkNice turns recorded speech into text, offers optional kinder rewrites, and can compose mixed-language speech in your selected output language. Space Sheep Studio operates the service. Contact: [email protected].
New audio and text providers require separate, explicit choices in the app before use. If you enable audio processing with the new providers, recordings are sent through our backend to DeepInfra for transcription, with Groq as backup; automatic and mixed-language recordings currently use Groq. If you enable text processing, transcripts, requested rewrites, expression/style preferences and enabled surrounding text are sent to DeepInfra to compose, translate and rewrite messages, with Groq as backup. The GPT-OSS model name includes “openai/”, but these new requests go to DeepInfra or Groq, not OpenAI's API.
Old clients and users who decline migration continue only their previously authorized services: Groq for audio, OpenAI or DeepSeek for text. A previous authorization never silently enables DeepInfra. Without a prior permission or a new permission for the relevant feature, that feature makes no cloud request. Basic typing and local history remain available. Review your choices or withdraw all cloud AI permission in Settings. These controls cover the app, history rewrites and keyboard. A random installation identifier accompanies requests for usage limits and abuse prevention; it is not an advertising identifier. Operational usage counters and technical request information may be retained. No advertising or cross-app tracking is used.
With your cloud AI permission, audio may be uploaded in segments while you record and sent through our transcription service to the audio provider you authorized for speech recognition. Short recordings and recovery requests may upload the full recording after you stop. Cancel stops further uploads but cannot recall audio already received by a provider. If you choose a different output language, your transcript is sent to an AI provider for translation. Tapping Make it kinder sends the transcript for a rewrite. A rewrite you request from the keyboard also sends up to about 400 characters of the text immediately before and after what is being rewritten, so the result can match its intent; your wider typing history is not read. These cloud features require an internet connection and process the content only to fulfill your requested operation.
In password, verification-code and card-number fields TalkNice sends no surrounding text and offers no rewrite. A rewrite you start from the History screen sends only the saved text you chose. Rewrites also carry the expression style and strength you selected.
The keyboard's preliminary tone detection runs on your device. Optional Apple Speech Recognition uses on-device recognition when available and authorized. Recording takes place in the main app. TalkNice does not send messages to other people automatically.
DeepInfra and Groq serve newly authorized audio and text requests as described above. Previously authorized legacy text requests use OpenAI or DeepSeek. Separate TalkNice rollout controls may move new requests to the disclosed Groq backup when a primary service is unavailable; they do not authorize any additional recipient. Cloudflare and Alibaba Cloud provide hosting and network infrastructure. The app selects the China entry for a device whose region is set to China, and the global entry otherwise; this is not a guarantee of physical location detection or domestic-only inference. Requests may be processed outside your country. Providers handle data under their applicable service terms, privacy policies and account settings. We do not claim zero cloud retention: providers may retain content or operational data for security, abuse prevention or legal obligations.

Transcripts and rewrites are saved on your device by default. In History you can delete entries, clear history, choose 7-day or 30-day retention, or turn history off. Turning it off deletes the history file. The history file is protected and excluded from device backup.
The app deletes temporary audio after a successful result. Failed or stopped processing keeps audio locally for retry until you discard it, replace it, or next launch the app. Stopping a request prevents a late result from changing your screen; it cannot undo processing already received by a provider.
Our infrastructure processes technical request data such as IP address, request time, model, byte counts, token usage, errors and estimated processing cost for delivery, security and service operations. App subscription entitlement and daily free usage are stored locally. Apple handles payments; we do not receive your payment card details.
Full Access enables network rewrites and sharing dictation requests and results with the main app. Basic typing works without it. Text is copied to the system clipboard only when you tap Copy. Other apps and system clipboard features may then access copied text under their own policies.
“Learn from my edits” is off by default. When you turn it on, TalkNice notices on this device whether you kept or changed what it inserted, and keeps a short list of the words you use. Those words are attached to your later transcription requests as a recognition hint, so names and jargon come back the way you write them, and are used for nothing else. The list stays on your device, is never shared with other apps and is not used for advertising. Turning the switch off stops future requests from carrying it, and “Clear learned terms” in Settings deletes it. Counts of whether rewrites were kept are also stored locally and never uploaded. Learning needs the same cloud AI permission as transcription, and a new consent revision is required before it sends anything.
You can decline microphone or Speech Recognition permission, disable keyboard Full Access, keep output in the original languages, avoid optional rewrites, and delete local history. Without microphone permission you cannot record; without cloud processing you cannot obtain final transcription. You can remove the keyboard and uninstall the app. No TalkNice account is required.
We do not sell your data or use your content for advertising. For privacy questions or access, correction or deletion requests where applicable, contact us. If a request concerns a local history file, use the app's deletion controls. We cannot guarantee deletion of provider records subject to their legal or security retention obligations.
TalkNice is not directed to children under 13. We will update this page when our practices change.

获得你的云端 AI 同意后，录音期间可能会分段上传音频，经我们的转写服务发送给你授权的音频服务商进行识别。短录音和恢复请求可能会在停止后上传完整录音。取消会停止后续上传，但无法撤回服务商已收到的音频。选择英语输出时，转写文字会发送给 AI 服务商翻译。点选 Make it kinder 时，转写文字会发送用于改写。你在键盘中主动发起的改写，还会一并发送被改写文字前后各最多约 400 个字符，使结果更贴合上下文；更早的输入记录不会被读取。这些云端功能需要联网，内容用于完成你请求的操作。
在密码、一次性验证码和卡号输入框中，TalkNice 不会发送任何上下文文字，也不会提供改写。从历史记录发起的改写只发送你选中的已保存文字。改写还会一并发送你选择的表达模式与强度。
键盘的初步语气检测在设备本地完成。允许 Apple 语音识别且设备支持时，可选的实时预览强制使用本地识别。录音在主 App 内进行。TalkNice 不会自动向他人发送消息。
新授权的音频和文字请求按上述方式使用 DeepInfra 和 Groq。此前授权的旧版文字请求使用 OpenAI 或 DeepSeek。TalkNice 的独立开关可在主服务不可用时切换到已披露的 Groq 备用服务，不会授权额外的接收方。Cloudflare 和阿里云提供托管与网络基础设施。设备地区设为中国时，App 选择中国入口，其他地区选择全球入口；这不代表能检测你的实际位置，也不保证推理全程在境内完成。请求可能在你所在国家或地区之外处理。服务商按其服务条款、隐私政策及账户设置处理数据。我们不承诺云端零保留：服务商可能因安全、防滥用或法律义务保留内容或运行数据。

转写文字和改写默认保存在设备上。你可以删除单条、清空历史、选择保留 7 天或 30 天，或者关闭历史。关闭历史会删除历史文件。历史文件有文件保护，且不参与设备备份。
结果成功后，App 删除临时录音。处理失败或主动停止时，录音保留在本地供重试，直到放弃、替换录音或下次启动 App。停止请求可避免迟到的结果改变界面，但无法撤销服务商已经收到的处理。
基础设施会处理 IP 地址、请求时间、模型、字节数、token 用量、错误和估计处理费用等技术数据，用于请求传递、安全与服务运行。订阅权益和每日免费次数保存在本地。付款由 Apple 处理，我们不会收到银行卡信息。
完全访问用于联网改写及在键盘和主 App 之间共享听写请求与结果。不授予时仍可基础打字。只有点击复制，文字才写入系统剪贴板；其他 App 和系统剪贴板功能之后可能按各自政策访问该文字。
“从我的修改中学习”默认关闭。开启后，TalkNice 仅在设备本地判断你是否保留或修改了插入的内容，并保存一份你常用词语的简短清单。这些词语会附加在你之后的转写请求中作为识别提示，让人名和术语按你的写法被识别，除此之外不作其他用途。该清单只保存在设备上，不与其他 App 共享，也不用于广告。关闭开关后，之后的请求不再附带该清单；在设置中点击“清除已学词条”会立即删除它。是否保留改写的统计同样只保存在本地，绝不上传。学习功能与转写一样需要云端 AI 授权，并且在它开始发送内容前会先要求你重新同意。
你可以拒绝麦克风或语音识别权限、关闭完全访问、保留原语言输出、不使用可选改写，以及删除本地历史。没有麦克风权限时不能录音，不使用云端处理时不能获得最终转写。你可以移除键盘或卸载 App。TalkNice 不要求创建账户。
我们不出售数据，不将内容用于广告。如有隐私问题，或希望行使适用的访问、更正、删除权利，请联系我们。本地历史可直接通过 App 删除；我们无法保证删除服务商因法律或安全义务需要保留的记录。
TalkNice 不面向 13 岁以下儿童。数据处理方式变化时，我们会更新本页面。
