Convert a video

Choose Fix for Sharing or Fix for Editing, import from Photos or Files, review the detected properties and tap Convert video. Keep VideoFix open until the export is complete. Use Preview, Share or Save to Photos on the result screen.

My video is in iCloud

Download the original in Photos or Files first if import cannot complete. Importing large cloud videos may require a connection and local free space, even though conversion itself stays on the device.

Why does standard color look different?

HDR supports a wider brightness range. Mapping to SDR makes a standard-color copy, so it cannot reproduce every HDR highlight at the same brightness. VideoFix uses Apple’s color conversion pipeline.

Editing and frame timing

Choose the constant frame rate of your editing timeline. VideoFix repeats or drops video frames as needed while preserving audio timestamps. It cannot fix every synchronization error already present in a recording.

A file size limit failed

Try a larger limit or Automatic. Very small sizes cannot preserve usable video and audio. A failed or cancelled export does not use a free conversion.

No audio or unsupported file

Extract Audio needs an audio track. Inputs must be readable by Apple’s media frameworks. Only the first video and audio tracks are used.

Find your files

Open Library in VideoFix, or Files → On My iPhone → VideoFix → Exports. Deleting a converted copy does not delete your source.

Restore or manage access

Sign in to the same Apple Account used for purchase. In VideoFix, open Settings → Restore purchases. Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable purchase that never renews. The monthly plan is an auto-renewable subscription with no free trial; it renews until cancelled, and subscribers can open Settings → Manage subscription to change or cancel it. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
